Ingredients:
Method:
- Lamb cleaned and cut 1 kg.
- Water 1 cup.
- Vegetable oil ½ cup.
- Salt to taste.
- Asafoetida 2 pinches.
- Red chilli powder 2 tsp.
- Ginger powder 1 ½ tsp.
Method:
- Cook lamb in a heavy bottomed pot with the water oil and salt and asafetida for 20 mins.
- Stir continuously so that it get mixed evenly.
- When liquid dries and oil surfaces, lower the flame and cook till it is deep brown in colour and a little crisp to touch.
- Add red chilli powder mixed with a few spoon of water and stir in high heat till it becomes rich red colour.
- Add ginger powder and few spoons of water and stir on high heat till oil surfaces.
- Remove from heat and serve with rice.
