Ingredients:
- 500 g - chicken
- small methi leaves, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp - green chilly paste
- 5 tbsp - thick beaten curd
- 1 tsp - garam masala powder
- 1 tsp - shajeera
- 1/4 tsp - cinnamon
- 1 tsp - bay leaf
- 1 - finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp - ginger garlic paste
- In a heavy bottomed pan , heat oil; add shahjeera, cinnamon sticks, bay leaf.
- Allow them to splutter, add onions and fry till onions turn pink.
- Add methi leaves and fry; then add green chilly paste, ginger-garlic paste, salt and fry till oil seperates.
- Add chicken and cook until it is tender, finally remove the pan from heat.
- Add curd and put the vessel back on flame and cook until done.
- Serve with steamed rice.
